Vacancy
1. Procurement Specialist
We are looking forward to inviting a suitable good fit for our new vacancy as Procurement Specialist for renewable energy projects to join our rapidly expanding team and business. The position is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring cost-effective purchasing of materials and services, and maintaining strict schedules to meet project deadlines. The role require experience in construction or engineering procurement and involve managing supplier relationships to deliver materials on time.
Responsibilities:
i. Strategic Sourcing & Negotiation:
– Identify reliable suppliers for materials, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships to secure best value.
ii. Procurement & Project Support:
– Lead end-to-end procurement processes, from issuing RFQs/RFPs to issuing Purchase Orders (POs) and verifying invoices.
iii. Material Readiness & Logistics:
– Ensure timely material delivery to project sites to align with project schedules.
iv. Material Planning & Inventory Control:
– Utilizing project schedules and bills of materials (BOM) to calculate precise requirements, ensuring enough stock without overstocking.
v. Warehousing & Storage:
– Proper handling and tracking of materials to maintain quality and prevent shortages.
vi. Supply Chain Risk Management:
– Monitor global market trends, pricing, and availability of materials (steel, aluminium, PV components).
vii. Supplier Management:
– Sourcing, evaluating, negotiating, and selecting suppliers, as well as developing supplier capabilities.
viii. Documentation & Compliance:
– Maintain accurate records of, contracts, and supplier data, ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade laws.
ix. Collaboration:
– Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Logistics departments to optimize inventory levels and ensure smooth procurement operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/ Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin is required to effectively communicate with our diverse overseas supplier, clients, and stakeholders.
- Must have clear communication skills and able to liaise with all levels from bottom to top management in different departments to suppliers and clients with good interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy with mastery in Microsoft Excel functions is an added advantage.
- Good team player by adopting good listening skills that cultivate inspired working environment.
- Self-motivated, dynamic, and possess leadership traits.
- Able to work independently and with a high degree of confidentiality, integrity, compliance and willing to learn.
- REQUIRE strong analytical, problem-solving and negotiation skills.

2. Senior Technical Engineer / Manager
Technical Manager oversees the engineering, design, and operational performance of solar photovoltaic (PV) projects, including Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). They lead technical teams to ensure projects meet quality standards, budgetary constraints, and grid compliance while optimizing performance, conducting energy yield analysis (EYA).
Responsibilities:
i. System Design
– Design and size GCPV systems (modules, inverters, cabling) using software like PVSyst, AutoCAD, and SketchUp.
ii. Engineering & Design Oversight
– Review and optimize site layouts, equipment specifications (modules, inverters, trackers), and grid connection studies.
iii. Project Management & Compliance
– Lead the technical execution of projects from design through commissioning, ensuring compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
iv. Performance Optimization
– Perform or review Energy Yield Analyses (EYA) and use software to monitor operational KPIs to reduce downtime.
v. Technical Advisory
– Liaise with stakeholders, lenders’ technical advisors (LTA), and clients, providing technical expertise and troubleshooting.
vi. O&M Management
– Oversee Operation and Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Corrective Maintenance, including managing contractors and vendors.
vii. Documentation
– Prepare technical proposals and design documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or Renewable Energy.
- MUST have 3+ years experiences in solar engineering, EPC, or O&M, with strong understanding in utility-scale (LSS) or commercial solar projects.
- Have strong understanding of PV components, BESS, and grid integration.
- Have clear communication skills and able to liaise with all levels from bottom to top management to client.
- Must be comfortable in presenting design work to a group of people at various levels.
- Familiar with PVsys, Auto CAD, PowerPoint, etc relevant design software is added advantage.
- Require GCPV certified candidate.
- Contractual position (renewable contract) and willing to travel within Malaysia when required.
- Opportunity to relocate to other project site and earn vast renewable energy experiences within Malaysia.
